I am an avid oil painter, portraiture being my favorite subject. I paint portraits of people and their pets on commission, and have created numerous posthumous portraits. I donate paintings of our fallen military heroes, both human and canine, as a remembrance to their family members (see below).

I have won several awards for my oil paintings and continue to be enthralled with the medium.

Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA. May 16, 2011. This is a photo of me presenting Major General Spiese, USMC, with a posthumous portrait of fallen USMC explosives detection dog Sgt. Bo’s King Cole. The painting was sent to the dog’s handler whom he served with in Afghanistan. Sgt. Cole was killed in Afghanistan on October 15, 2010 on his last scheduled patrol with the United States Marine Corps. Sincere thanks to Major General Spiese and Colonel Steve Fisher for their time in recognition of Sgt. Cole.
